All Unique has known was perfect. Every family had a mom and dad and kids, there was never any fighting or war, education was free, healthcare was affordable, and everyone got the same pay. Regent Phyllis is praised for keeping such peace, and having a crime rate of zero. Unique has many friends, and dreams of becoming a doctor to help with the implants everyone is given at birth to track their health and growth. Everything was perfect.
Was.
One day, Unique is struck by lightning, and he sees the world for what it is. He tries finding out more, but he soon regrets it when he meets Dru, someone who's never gotten an implant. His world falls in as Dru tells him of all the things happening. But that's not all that falls when Dru comes; Unique starts to fall with his world.All Rights Reserved

I only ever met one man I'd call truly noble. He was a man who was misunderstood and worthy of the world, yet everyone saw him differently. That was until I saw his true colours. The more I caught his eye the more he noticed me. We would pass each other, I would always stare a little longer at his back, wondering his story.
