"Okay I'll give you three seconds then I'll shoot if you don't start talking."

"Fine, fine, fine, shit, calm down, would ya? Jeez." Kayn shakes his head and walks back to the couch. He throws himself down and relaxes while his legs are resting on the coffee table. "You humans are so grumpy," Kayn complains.

"Are you human?" I ask.

"So many questions, I don't even get a chance at answering to them. On top of that, you're stressing me out with that revolver. I can't handle this situation, Gianna." I walk closer to him, a little baffled by his calm, joyful, teasing, attitude.

"I'll put it down," I start and sit down on the floor. "But if you don't talk, I won't think twice on shooting this time." I'm rewarded with a smile.

Gianna's life is starting to go back to normal after the tragic passing of her mother. Well, as ordinary as it gets for someone who's spent her life behind the gates of a classified facility.
