Amelia Bronson grew up an upper-class girl, always supported and cared for. Her family was practicly royalty. Lavish parties and royal banquets were common in her lifestyle. She had attended the best school in the country and was thought of as intelligent among the people. From the outside, her life seemed perfect. Though, despite the privileged life she knew, she had lacked one thing. One very important thing.
Freedom.
Amelia was trapped. With all the people watching her, her family pressured her to be perfect. Everything thing she did was considered breaking news. Mistakes were not tolerated, no matter how big or small. When passing through towns she saw people living an average life enviously, watching as the drank, sang and danced freely. Able to make mistakes and be themselves. Hearing of the tales people told while traveling and sailing out at sea, she did the only logical thing.

Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough.
