Summary:
A 17 year old boy named Len attends The Training Academy to become a warrior with the rest of the kids in his town, a town where humans, dragons, wolves, and knights live in peace. This peace is held together by a delicate balance, but it begins to fall apart as the different races bicker among themselves. However, Len has his own problems. He quickly realizes that he is not fit for the future set out for him, and finds talent not in fighting, but in art. He is falling behind in his training, struggles to find friends, and is harassed by bullies every day. No one is there to help him both physically and emotionally. But one day, he meets a 21 year old dragonborn warrior named Nyx. At first, he doesn't think he has what it takes to be good friend to Nyx, but soon realizes how accepting Nyx is of his differences. As they get to know each other, Nyx teaches Len what he's been missing from The Training Academy. But will they be prepared for the journey that must be taken in their future?

What to expect:
This story takes place during Medieval times, but is not heavily centered around castles and such. The types of characters (as stated above) include humans, dragons, and wolves. When I refer to dragons and wolves in this story, I'm talking about the Anthropomorphic kind; dragons and wolves who walk on two legs, talk, wear clothes, etc.
