I panicked as Alpha Jake walked in and approached me. I've really done it this time. I'm so going to lose something for this! I thought as I started listing what he could take from me. My breathing started to rapidly speed up as I ran to the other end of the Kitchen. When Alpha Jake saw the mess, I had made with the food; burning the cake, starters messily prepared and no main course ready for them, he clenched his hands. He looked at me with fury in his eyes and I whimpered. "It's serving time. Why is there no quality food?" Alpha Jake asked me in a dangerously low voice. I didn't say anything. My mind went blank and everything turned into a blur. My heart was racing, and my palms were sweaty as I considered the most dangerous move I'll ever make while in this pack. In a split second, I ran out of the Kitchen's second exit. I made my way through the house with people shouting at me. I had a few people try to grab my arm, but I somehow dogged them, slipping through bodies and ducking under grasping hands. I kept running, my feet hitting the fake, wooden floor, until I was outside. Alexa was enslaved with the rest of her villiage to the Midnight Moon Pack. Her master, Alpha Jake was a cruel and scary Alpha, knowing only what his parents had taught him from day one; human's are made to be slaves. But Alexa managed to escape, being found by the Alpha of the Rival pack, Alpha Liam Summers. Want another plot twist? They're mates, but let's not forget she's a human. Who knew a smiple mistake, mixed with a split-second decision to run would change her life for the better.

Today I want to die. Not because of anything in particular or specific, but just because the utter thought of ceasing to exist sounds devastatingly euphoric. To make the noise stop. To stop this stabbing pain in the lowest pit of my stomach that's causing a burning sensation that crawls all over my skin, making me want to peel it off. To stop the guilt that festers every time I take a breath-- an oxygen thief. To stop the constant urge to detonate over anything and everything that dares to love me because in all-- I could never deserve such an honor. Today I want to die. For the longest time, I thought I was just unlucky. That sometimes life doesn't work out for everyone, and for people like me; things just never get better. I had settled into the life of being unlucky, reveled in it, and found comfort in knowing that no matter what; I would just be categorically unlucky. That was until I realized luck had nothing to do with it. It's karma. It's the idea of what goes around comes around, and what goes up must come down. Didn't some philosopher speak to that once? However, it isn't my karma. Well it wasn't at first-- somewhere down the line after all my wrongdoing I'm sure it has switched to mine. But I am the poor soul stuck with my father's karmic retaliation. The karma that he deserves has been thrown against me as some sort of sick cosmic joke-- I'm sure he'd actually celebrate and feast on the fact that once again, he still gets to hurt me even from his grave. Too bad I killed him before he had the chance to see. *Book One in the Karma Duet. Book Two is now in progress, titled: The Karma Study*

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

[WARNINGS: EXTRATERRESTRIAL BEING, MANIPULATION, MILD BETRAYAL, BITING/SCRATCHING, BLOOD, MILD VIOLENCE, POTENTIALLY HARMFUL RELATIONSHIP, TRICKERY, LYING/LIES, SUGGESTIVE SCENES, INNOCENTLY OBLIVIOUS SUGGESTIVE COMMENTS, ARROGANCE, SEPARATION, MILD SEPARATION ANXIETY] Lunar is going to be able to switch between his human form and animatronic form with magic like how it was in the christmas special. Almost the exact same concept with the guys but they stay in an apartment rather than moving to a bigger house, so they're living in a somewhat cramped apartment, mostly staying human in case something happens. . . Finding an extraterrestrial entity in your trash can is definitely something happening. The Y/n is going to be the wrongdoer conflicting most of the actions listed in the warnings above. But it is to be expected, they are an alien and don't understand a lot of things but also don't really care about it. They are curious but mostly focused on finding non-human entites and connecting with them for research. Which makes them not exactly interested in Lunar until they see what he really is, then they practically become obsessed with him and tries to figure out how he works by poking him, trying to listen to his mechanics inside of him, asking odd questions, etc. But the poor precious guy sees these as signs of interest and tries to be a good potential lover by doing a bunch of little jobs for them. Lunar also shows them a few earth things, treats and places as sort of various little dates, shows them a bunch of stuff because of their obsession with research, etc. only to end up being emotionally ignored by the oblivious Alien and left behind a couple times, which definitely gets to his feelers a lot :(
