Patrick falls in love with Pete Wentz who everyone thinks is a school bully but he doesn't feel like Pete likes him the same way. Pete protects his nerd with all of his heart and then falls deeply in love. They are to hid the forbidden love as it is one of the school polices. After one year of being together, rumors are spread along the school and they are both suspended.  Pete is then later sent to a private school where Patrick won't be able to see him again.
