After enduring an assault from other schoolmates, Elizabeth's luck brings her into the interests of a killer-a killer named Jeff. As if making the acquaintance of a scarred murderer wasn't bad enough, her fate as more than just an awkward high schooler unfolds rather quickly as well. She always felt she was a special sort, but...

Monsters, killers, wraiths, and supernatural entities-just how special can one get? Everything improbable becomes her new reality and is solidified just as much as her new truth:
