A public statement is made by Virgil that dating isn't for him after getting played multiple times just for money and attention, and as a celebrity, he doesn't know exactly who to trust anymore except, of course, for his best friend since childhood, Patton Ambrose.

When Patton introduces him to a small artist by the name Janus Seymour who just so happens to have a superfan named Roman for a friend, Virgil's entire thought process is flipped on its head.

There are more layers than the general public sees, and there are suddenly two more big problems that appear.

After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol. I got this idea by listening to Crutch by Set It Off and wanted to make it cute so enjoy it* Currently editing to correct any mistakes in spelling I may have missed before :)

Who, it just so happens, has the most adorable smile and laugh and eyes and - superheroes were not supposed to be attracted to the very people trying to hurt their city, right? Nor were they supposed to help them defend it against an even worse, more deadly one. Roman Trente has, in summary, the perfect life.
