When Thomas's' older brother, Logan, wakes him up at ten in the evening to rant on about alternate dimensions, Thomas did not expect to find himself, half an hour later, being ready to head straight through a portal. But, hey! Expect the unexpected.
Now Thomas is in a crazy steampunk world, where the government is trying to stop the world from finding out about the very last tree, he can't go home without the government following him, Logan's gotten a hopeless crush on a young man he's met and Thomas's' new best friend has managed to get them stuck on a pirate ship with his twin brother, his twin brother's' boyfriend and a man he once slept with.

*Completed* The crowned prince of the Andreas kingdom, Prince Roman was blessed, or as he sees it cursed, to appear to people as their ideal version of beauty. The stress of it all had caused him and his twin brother, Remus, to run away. They had everything planned out, for the most part, but when the ship they ran away on is overtaken by pirates, they impulsively joined the crew. The captain of the ship, known as the Masked Pirate for he wore a black mask that covered his whole face, seemed like a stoic man to the public, but the twins quickly see his love for his crew. Knowing what will happen if Thomas is completely corrupted, Virgil knows he has to stop whatever is causing this infection even if he must pay the ultimate price.

*Completed* After a near death experience, Roman can see strange things, things that don't make sense. Animals that died, strange creatures that roam about, and a strange hooded figure that seems so familiar. No one else can see these things, though these things can see them. They can affect them as well. Virgil hates cities, the bigger the city the more death there is, the more work he has to do. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits.
