When Nickolas and Adalie carter move to town, they immediately know something's off. It could have been the man standing in the road on their way in , or possibly a strange entrance ceremony that leaves both of them shocked. The city of Bedford is about 13,000 people, and in the middle of nowhere. But the two siblings are starting to realize that they may not be the only things living in those woods.
Some of the people in town seem to think that the Carter siblings have something to hide. One of them happens to be a charming man by the name of Ezell Foss. But can he be trusted? What exactly is he after?
Burned is a fast-paced journey through a world of magic and intrigue with just a bit of romance thrown in for good measure. Will the Carter siblings discover the secrets of the small forest town, or will they disappear in the process?
