Forgotten With Time

Perhaps people aren't lying when they say there are no accidental meetings between two souls, there's a purpose. There's always a reason for everything that happens, doesn't matter whether it's good or bad it will always lead us to where we're meant to be.

Naomi Duncan, a girl who works in a coffee shop, in a small, silent town. She dreams of leaving the town and never returning although she knows that dream of hers will forever remain a dream.

The town was a lively place once, now it has turned into a shell of what it used to be, empty streets, hopeless and scared people locked up in their houses. Several young girls have gone missing without leaving any trace and the culprit still roams the street in hopes of finding what would be its next victim.

Luis Haider, once an innocent baby who was left in the care of his alcoholic father, who would abuse the child for being born, for being a burden, for being an extra mouth to feed and an extra body to clothe. Escaping after 21 years of torture, just when he thought he is safe he ends up in another mess.

It was not the child's fault, it never is, but maybe the world has turned so bitter that it likes to torture the innocent souls. Severe childhood trauma creates a child with equally intense coping mechanisms. In some cases people often resort to violence. So, is Luis the one responsible for the disappearances?
