The Berkian School of Dragon Training- more shortly known as just the School of Dragons, or the S.o.D- has finally opened its doors, thanks to the efforts of none other than Hiccup Haddock and his own band of riders. With what goal? Preparing the next generation of dragon trainers, of course. Addison happens to be amongst the first year class; a headstrong Viking with a loud personality and a habit of biting off more than she can chew. Already with a fully grown dragon of her own, she has the makings of a prodigy... if it weren't for the fact that she isn't exactly what you'd call an enthusiastic student.
A girl with potential she may be, Addison has her own way of doing things- ways that don't always align with what her peers expect- or want- from her. But, she and her dragon Tide have a long few semesters ahead of them to survive, and it seems like Hiccup is going have his hands full trying to keep her rebellious nature in check.
