First of two stories I had written years ago. This one is short compared to some of the work I have now. Summary: A young man has troubles with relationships. He doesn't trust them due to his past. So, he's the last person you'd expect to be able to give advice. On a journey to find his mother, he will learn more about himself as he sees different types of relationships unfold before him. Will he be able to figure out love, or get lost in the battles?

After Sam's rough past with befriending and her father leaving her and her mother, she finds a way to rebuild herself. Put her pieces back together. But in grade nine she meets a boy who has every bit of potential to ruin what she's worked so hard to put back together. Will this boy ruin her? Or will he piece that one part that's missing in Sam?
