Discovery

The United States of America was very well known for being an overly optimistic, happy, and energetic nation who could never handle a single responsibility in her life. Except, maybe...have and raise her 51 children (Washington D.C. included). Since a requirement for becoming a state is to be able to run independently from the federal government should something happen, they are personified as their respective states. America has been hiding this secret since she was a colony. What happens when her biggest secret is discovered by the other nations at a U.N. meeting?

IMPORTANT: In this prompt, America has gray eyes that go up or down the grayscale depending on her emotion. Positive emotions turn her eyes white while negative emotions make her eyes turn black. (I'm kinda putting my own twist on the "Black eyes AU"). I am not the original creator of the original Black eyes AU.
