Bursting through the door of the cabin, Samara began to bolt across the tall dead grass and into the woods. It was the middle of the night that's all she knew as she ran deeper into the woods. Her body hurt and she was covered in blood, but she didn't know what was hers and what was theirs. She stopped and listened for anything that sounded like angry men. She heard nothing at first....until she heard the crunch of leaves underneath feet, but by then it was too late.
