The year is 2150, over 1200 years since Hiccup was born. And while the rest of the world believes that dragons are nothing more than myths and legends, there is one family who remembers what it was like to grow up amongst the fire-breathing creatures.

Valkaria has grown up with the stories of the great prince. The prince who only wanted to bring peace to the world. She believes that the dragons will never return because they never existed. She sees the prophecy as nothing more than a bedtime story to help children sleep at night. Even when she finds out that she can understand the penguins and polar bears at the zoo in Toronto, a city near her home, she adamantly refuses to believe.
