Steampunk stories from the alternate universe world of Zahn.  The world is a mix of steampunk and fantasy where only the simplest of mechanics work without magic. 
Ouihan is a street orphan with an unknown past.  Unknown even to himself.   He has been sent to a prestigious school for clockworks mages by an unknown benefactor where he has to find his way in the world and unlock his hidden past.  
Suddenly he finds himself embroiled in a plot to overthrow the benevolent and ritgeous empress of The Civilization. 
He and a group of other street orphans try to help the Empress find her way back to her throne despite the persistent attacks from the Shadowmen, an elite assassins organization.  
Also embroiled in the plot is Captain Calvin Cooper, the empress's man.  An immortal from Earth.All Rights Reserved

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways.
