In the Hood

Life as a black male in the hood! This story is about a kid name Jamal who is raised by a single mother in a rough neighborhood in Philadelphia. He faces a lot of racial discrimination. He falls into the drug game because of lack of education given at his public school, so he learns about life through life. His senior year of high school he gets a new English teacher who pushes him to do better and he makes some life changing decisions.
