Peter Pan: The Prodigal Returns

This will be the direct sequel to the original J.M. Barrie novel.

This story will cover everything that the first book has not been able to (including the very mystery of Peter Pan's being).

This is the story of Peter Pan's past and Peter Pan's future.

The premise is that Peter finally remembered his promise to Wendy. He comes to take Wendy to the Neverlands for spring cleaning, but he is bombed down by an enemy war plane. Peter Pan is injured, and forced to stay in London against his will. When Operation Pied Piper, Peter must decide whether return to Neverland or be sent away elsewhere. Peter sees the misery around him and decides to end the war once and for all. The following chain of events will change Peter Pan's life forever. Meanwhile, Wendy struggles with her new role in Peter Pan's life. Is she his mother, is she his friend, and why do nightmares torment her to distraction? How long must she wait for things to make sense again.
