This isn't a story, this is a four thousand word essay about the Strange Man, a character in Red Dead Redemption. I was paid two dollars to publish this. Included at the end is also my analysis of Arthur Morgan's morality in relation to the high-honor dreams of deer shown throughout the game. I'm curious if anyone will read this.

By 1899 the age of outlaws and gunslingers was at an End. America was becoming a land of laws... Even the west had mostly been tamed. A few gangs still roamed but they were being hunted down and destroyed. 5 long years have passed since the Red Wolf had lost his lover and child and started his vengeance against the dreaded evil O'Driscolls gang. He had been riding with the Van Der Linde Gang ever since, gaining the respect and loyalty within. But with the gang being hunted down by the Pinkertons because of Blackwater and with the advent of progress and the time of outlaws dying out. Robert has to re-evaluate his place in the world, in a world were outlaws, cowboys, killers and thieves were no longer wanted. His relationship with Mary-Beth is on the line as she has been drawn closer to him, though his heart is still torn over his previous lover's loss. Isabella Monroe is a college student who is struggling to make ends meet. She works constantly and college is giving her a real kick in the pants.. Her roommate Lindsay is the complete opposite. While they both are attending college, Lindsay's parents send her money every week unlike her counterpart. She doesn't quite understand Isabella's struggle. One night, a very hard day in particular for Isabella, Lindsay tells her to relax and play her new game which so happened to be Red Dead Redemption 2. Isabella refuses because she's not a gamer and she's absolutely exhausted which Lindsay never understands..but she instead agrees to watch her and chills with a beer in hand.. but hours go by and Lindsay somehow convinces her to play. She instantly gets hooked to the story and the character Arthur Morgan. It's like a book but the details and the visuals quench her every need in ways that a book couldn't. That night she decides to look for clues and secrets online..but her phone acts weird. She accidentally opened a "dark browser" that hacks her PS4 and phone. She waves it off as if it is nothing and goes to bed...but when she wakes up, her whole life has changed.. to her disbelief she wakes up in the cool hills of the Cumberland Forest. A mysterious voice from above offers her a deal, if she saves Arthur, she can come home. The kicker is.. she only has five chances to save him or...game over.Complete
