When Jades mother passes away from lung cancer she is sent to a new world, Australia, to live with her father who started a new life after he left Jade and her mother when she was five. Starting a whole new life with a unknown brother, Grant, new mother, Debbie, while still having resentment towards her father, Jay. When she thought things couldn't get anymore difficult, she's told that her fathers best friend, Luke Hemmings, is living with them for the summer.
