Book 4 in the 2026 series is actually a prequel, and begins in 2025. Jimin is 31, out of military, and working hard on choreography for BTS and other groups. When an injury sets him back, he expects to recover as quickly as he once did, but finds he is unable to perform. During a period of isolation and self reflection he meets a beautiful dancer at the precipice of her career, and it rekindles his fire. But love is not easy with two driven stars wounded by criticism and plagued by doubts. Will they be able to banish the demons that darken them and step forward into a new light?
BTS 2026 series, what you need to know:
The series was started in January 2021 based on m idea of what BTS would be like in five years time. Everything plotted out was before 2.0 and some of the timeline events coincidentally match what has happened since but not all, and I chose not to modify it because it's fiction after all. The first book is "Miss Right" KTH, which sets the stage for the interwoven narratives of book 2; "Fix You" MYG and book 3 "Begin" JJK. Book 4 "Black Swan" PJM, is a prequel, as is book 5 "Untitled" KNJ, and I hope to complete JHope and Jin's books before 2026. Thanks for reading!
This story can be read first, but the advanced chapters will spoil the endings of other books in the series. Though books 1-3 contain the same characters from this book, there are no true spoilers.
Trigger warning: there will be occurrences of injuries and eating disorders dealt with in this book which may trigger some readers. I want to be sensitive to readers whose lives are impacted by this but please be aware the struggles people face are real, but the characters are fictional.
