*Mature Chapters Can Be Read In The Fate Encounters*
My life before they showed up felt incomplete. I felt as though there was a part of me that was missing. Nothing I did made that feeling go away. For seventeen years, I lived thinking I would never figure out why I felt the way I did. I thought I would continue living without ever receiving an answers.

However, with the appearance of them, came the answers I had always wanted. Which weren't even close to what I could ever imagine.

Magic and Gods? Everything you would only read about in fantasy books, were real. As for what I had thought to be reality, wasn't. And the changes didn't stop there.

I went from an average teenager girl, to a girl who had to save a world that I had no idea existed beyond literature.

My world wasn't just turned upside down. It changed completely. None of it would ever be the same again. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing could have possibly prepared for what was to come.

Imagine you sleep one day, a normal eighteen year old girl, you had a mum, an abusive father, a younger and older brother, a bestfriend and a super rich and caring boyfriend. But one day you wake up, to an unfamiliar room and everyone around you were also unfamiliar. The people around you were boys, toddlers to be precise, they look stunning for their age, but you had no time to admire their beauty. You look at them all confused, then you ask, "who are you? and where am I?" They told you that all your eighteen years of life was a dream, they told you it was the side effect of the drug they gave you to save your life. Apparently you were attacked by assassins and slipped into coma, to save your life they had to give you a drug, but the side effect was that your memories will be gone, you will only have memories of the dream life you lived. And you were in coma for only a month, the dream was actually short, its just your brain that made it seem long, just like how dreams only last three seconds but your brain makes it seem longer. Nothing in my life had ever made sense. They told me it was normal, I'd grow into who I was supposed to be, that things would get better; here I am now, going through the motions and wondering if this was really what I was destined to do for the rest of my life. Turns out, it wasn't. Nothing in my life had ever made sense but that was because my memories were fractured, pieces of a person I used to be, one I used to know lurking in the shadows of my dreams. I was just a normal guy trying to navigate the world but saying yes to everything and falling into the same monotony just wasn't cutting it anymore. I had a steady job, a pretty girl seemed interested in me and my 22nd birthday was coming up just before Christmas to give me something to look forward to. That all changed when I remembered her. I'd never forgotten her truly, blue was the only thing I knew and that Neptunian shade was so striking it stuck with me from the night she screamed at me in the rain but it wasn't until I found all the papers, the notes and crystals that I started to remember the world she lived in. One that wasn't my own and that had so much more to offer. It sounded crazy but I knew it was real and getting there, finding her and fixing the bridge that I'd unwittingly burned was going to be hard but I was ready to be more than a desk jockey typing my life away. I wanted to see the orange skies instead of the blue and find her sitting in a field of crystals again, staring at the stars.
