Adria Emanuella has a plan, one that will most likely kill her, but a plan nonetheless.

Years ago her city Vilnius was closed off from the rest of America for an unknown reason, a reason that is quickly starting to cripple the cities food supply and population.

As a drought starts to effect the city even more Adria sees that her plan for escape is finally preparing to go underway, and with the drought as a distraction, nobody would expect for her to leave then.

After years of preparation and dreaming of the outside she's finally ready. It's finally the day she's going to leave. It's finally her sixteenth birthday.

She vows her life to finding out what is behind the gate for the benefit of the rest of the city.

There must be a reason for the isolation - safe or dangerous, good or bad, dead or alive - she intends to find out.

Demalynn is a seventeen-year-old girl from a small town who one day hears a loud 'clack' and is transported to the planet Saffire. Naked. Then things really get weird. No child has ever been born on Saffire; clackers make up the entire population. All people who clack under thirty reverse age: each year they grow younger. As an awkward teenager plagued by panic attacks who dabbles in comedy, Demalynn just wants to go home to be re-united with her family. Citizens over thirty grow old and are forced to mine the mineral that powers giant cooling stations to keep the planet habitable. Citizens solve disputes with gladiatorial combat. The prophesy of The Coming In Saffire's time of greatest need, a child will be born to a special woman, the Gravidarum. The child, who has no father of this planet, will be known as the Unum, a child to lead Saffire. The Helper will battle to keep the Gravidarum safe until the Unum is born. The people of Saffire have been waiting to see The Coming fulfilled. Demalynn assembles a group of clackers to get her home, the most important of which is a fellow clacker: eighteen-year-old Aiden. It is not long before Jago, the ruler of Saffire, learns that a woman on Saffire is pregnant and he unleashes all his power to prevent the birth. Jago will not give up power. Demalynn is surprised to find out she is the Helper, but is astounded to learn the identity of the Gravidarum. Demalynn must battle to stay alive and fumbles towards the realization that Aiden is much more than a close friend. She is certain, with the certainty that only a seventeen-year-old can possess, that Aiden is her only true love. Demalynn is desperate to find a way back home until she must make a choice: stay with Aiden on Saffire or go back home and re-unite her family. There's no place like home.

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy. 1 parte Concluida

It is Resa's birthday and she is 54 years old. She has one year left until she goes over and she has been perfectly happy for the past 37 years, never questioning whether or not she loves her husband or even likes her children. But now she does. She has heard that some run but most, pretty much all, just go over. They go peacefully but Resa cannot believe they go happily. Older than her husband, she must go alone. She is given a guide dog to help her to make sense of the transition, to be with her, to be the be the only thing she knows on the day she turns 55. She doesn't even know what to call it.
