This is Wings of Fire: Dark Awakens. A fanfiction story I am currently writing about my OC, Darkgem, a rainwing nightwing hybrid. Based upon the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland! Darkgem has always been a normal dragonet. But when conflict breaks out in the royal family, she is somehow pulled into it all. On her journey to reach her destiny, she manages to find love, learn about her powers, and most importantly, becomes the dragon she was meant to be. Notice: My writing improves as I write on, so please bare with me. Thank you! :3

In a land of dragons, it's weary to know that one day you can end up as food for those above, that any day a dragon can come down from the sky and decide your fate. Those who wish to survive have to be resourceful, especially when even your own kind will throw you out to be food for the wolves. When discovering a past that had been thought been long lost in the scorching, River may finally have a chance to fight back against the world, but even the most tragic consequences can be caused by good intentions. This is a wings of fire fan fiction and all rights belong to Tui Sutherland
