This is Wings of Fire: Dark Awakens. A fanfiction story I am currently writing about my OC, Darkgem, a rainwing nightwing hybrid. Based upon the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland!
Darkgem has always been a normal dragonet. But when conflict breaks out in the royal family, she is somehow pulled into it all. On her journey to reach her destiny, she manages to find love, learn about her powers, and most importantly, becomes the dragon she was meant to be.

Wings Of Fire (WOF) : A dark family affair
Nightjar is a hybrid between a nightwing and a mudwing and that doesn't make her life simple at all. She doesn't know who are her true parents and she feels ignorant and empty every day. Her adoptive mother, one day decides to tell her what she knows about her real family but it is not enough for Nightjar. Why did she have not seen at least one time her real father or mother ? If they died, what happened to them ? She needs to find answers to her questions and she will do it her way, the price doesn't matter, because it is her heritage. What she knew was she was determined. But what she didn't know was that this adventure would take her to her limit. (Note that this story is based on the universe of Wings Of Fire. This is just a fanfiction about that imaginative world that, for sure, you love just as me.
