Phoenix has been in the abusive hands of her father since she was a baby. Her mother passed during her birth and her father has seen her nothing less than the reason his wife died. It's been nothing but abuse and neglect from the start of her life.
At the age of nine, Phoenix created her YouTube channel as a distraction from the reality of her life. She never expected to have that, at the age of 14, lead to Demi Lovato seeing it and deciding to bring her on tour as an opening act.
