Nightmares and Life there After...

My day started like most days, I woke up feeling utterly dreadful. Nightmares have become a constant part of life since I was just a young lady. I sink into a chair after combing my hair and sob for five minutes, thinking how do I cope with nightmares, difficult relationships, depression and anxiety as well keep a job all while balancing my emotions and trying to present myself as somewhat normal. I get up out of my chair wipe away the tears and pat my eyes with a damp cloth. Today will be better I say to my lonely self in the mirror. All the while wondering is this life? I finally get up after twenty minutes of forgetting I wanted to go out for a walk anyway. I practice smiling in the mirror one last time, then walk out my bedroom door.
