Mature
In 1830s France, whilst the spirit of revolution is building, two women try to convince the revolutionaries (and criminals) around them to stay calm.

Amelie lives with Jean Prouvaire and Montparnasse.
A street away, her best friend Elisabeth lives in a house with Enjolras and Grantaire.

And as the fight for freedom draws ever closer, they meet up to gossip about their boys in the Café Musain.

Disclaimer: We don't own Victor Hugo's Les Mis and its characters by any stretch of the imagination. The only characters we do own are our o/cs Amelie and Elisabeth (and anyone else not in the book). But we can still gossip about it!

------ "It's either the kiss or the revolution" Paris, France, spring of 1832 Victorie is like a friendly shadow at Café Musain. A girl who always welcomes the guests with a warm smile never thinks twice before helping Madame Hucheloup and brings snacks for the always hungry boys, hidden in the back room. To them, she's only a girl who works at the Café, a girl who is always there to linger around and listen to their meetings, criticize their opinions and to make sure they go home before three in the morning. Enjolras has always been annoyed by her presence, but never denied her entrance to the back room, partially because feared angering the boys and Madame Hucheloup who all seemed to adore this simple girl, but also because he always found himself unable to utter a reasonable sounding world in a conversation with her. With the impending revolution, the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC has no time to think about the irrelevant girl. Courfeyrac, their best friend. The centre of the group. He's always there to support his friends, to tell a joke or two and to mend everyone's problems. Can it be that he is not all he seems to be? What happens when the glue that holds everything together begins to break? Could the group survive without its joining factor? The choices to make are not going to be easy... One is known... Everything will change when the boys find out that Victorie is keeping secrets... ---- #1 in #Courfeyrac 28/03/2019. and 10/05/2019 / 28/12/2021 #1 in #lesmiserables 20/11/2018 and 3/1/2023 #2 in #enjolras 3/4/2021 Disclaimer: I do not own Les Misérables! Lioness

8 parts Complete

Evony Orléans, daughter of King Louis-Philippe d'Orléans, is not an ordinary girl. Being a princess can do that to a person. Unfortunately, being royalty isn't all fun and games, a hard truth that seems to keep punching her in the face. This is especially true with 10 siblings and a group of students starting a rebellion in the streets of France. Things get a lot worse when said rebellion's dashing leader catches her eyes, but what's a princess to do when in love with a rebel? Simple: Lead a double life. Sadly, double lives aren't all they're cracked to be, as she soon discovers, and not easy either. Will she be able to love Enjolras and keep up a facade, or will she have to return to royal life? Will love win out or will the crown fall? Whatever she chooses, it will take incredible strength and courage, and between possible execution for treason, deadly barricades, and a couple assassins, she will have to be a lioness to come out of this alive. Disclaimer: Set with Les Misérables by Victor Hugo as a heavy influence. I only have created Evony Orléans and various unnamed characters. All other characters were real people and I have created my own impressions of them.
