Katniss Mellark is still haunted with nightmares. Things were better for a few years. The districts were united and equal to the all but the Capitol. There were no more reapings and no more starving children. People smiled and traveled freely.
Then there was an election. A new president rose to power, more power hungry than Snow.
He was still hungry. Hungry for another Hunger Games.

We all know the story of the Mockingjay Rebellion. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years.
