Mature
Lauren Linley was young when she lost her father and even younger when she lost her mother. While Lauren was not entirely alone and still had her older brother, Jacob, and her dear friend and mentor, Eleanor, she couldn't help but feel the deep loss of her parent's deaths. With Jacob and Eleanor tasked with the raising of Lauren and with the job of keeping the Linley legacy a secret, they can't help but to slip up from time to time.

With all of the freedom Lauren has had over the course of her life you'd certainly think she'd be more "wild" or more childish than she is, but she has managed to develop an adult attitude towards any situation that has been thrown at her. As Lauren continues to grow physically and mentally she has been unable to fill the hole that her parents left when they passed. Will Lauren meet someone who can fill the void she's felt for so long or is she destined to be alone forever? Or perhaps she will be tasked with something that will consume her for the rest of her days.

Is Lauren really who she thinks she is or has her whole upbringing been a lie? Only time will tell and one thing everyone knows for sure is that Lauren has never been a fan of time.

Thank you for checking out my book! I have the mature rating on as a precaution because I am posting chapters as I write them and am not sure what direction I want to go in with this book yet. Since this is my first, complete, book attempt, I ask you to please refrain from any mean or rude comments, however constructive criticism is welcome!

I hope you enjoy my book and perhaps begin to question time as much as Lauren Linley has.

"You've become so damaged that when someone tries to give you what you deserve, you have no idea how to respond." He says taking a step closer to me. I frown. "So, it's my fault? That I'm to blame for being damaged?" "No, it's not your fault at all, but it is your fault for believing you don't deserve better. That you don't deserve to be happy." Nathan looks away from my eyes, inhaling. "Maybe the little things that you consider your weakness are actually the things that people treasure most about you. Maybe you hate that you care too much...or that you wear your heart on your sleeve. But seriously, some people think that's the best damn thing about you. We all have different little things that make up who we are, we don't need to change those things, but we can choose who we share them with." "What are you saying?" Now so close to me, he places his palm on my cheek, and whispers. "You're treasure, Madison...I hope you realize that." ________ Nathan Lane a Billionaire heartthrob who has everything in his life. Money, fame and power. Except he keeps some secrets of his own. This persona he puts on for the world to see is not what he truly wants. Season 1 complete! Book 2 (Rhapsody) complete! It was a new start for her, at least that was what her dad had told her when they moved from LA. A new start, with a new odd group of friends and her past mistakes still haunting her every move. Mistakes which suddenly seemed a lot harder to escape in such a small town; where the wrong person could be just around the corner, or the right one running full speed in the opposite direction. Turns out, it wasn't a new town which gave Lexi a chance at a fresh start, but rather colliding with Pope Hayward two weeks before the hurricane. The only question remains as to whether or not she can handle the life she's been offered, especially when a certain blond comes into the picture, threatening to cut the final string which holds her together. ---------------------- Smut warning LOL. Hi! I got this idea really randomly and just decided to write this book. It's a little different from the actual show, and there are definitely certain themes which make the story line a bit more graphic so viewer discretion is advised; definitely a spicer version of the Netflix show if you get what I mean. Just want to preface it by saying that there will be some triggers, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to catch them all because I've only lightly edited this (so if there are some minor plot holes just ignore them LOL), but the main ones will be sexual assault, suicide, physical/verbal abuse, and mental illness. Please tread lightly if these are sensitive topics to you, as certain peoples limits might be different from yours. Happy reading!

17-year-old Abigail Wells, known as Abbie, is shipped off to live with her estranged mother. The same woman whom Abbie has not seen since she was about three years old. Abbie's dad, Keith, is not a good guy and hates her passionately. Her home life was not good growing up yet he was the only parent she has ever known. Her only constant. Adeline Cobwell, Abbie's mother, lives in a small town, Reef's Paradise located in Florida. As the name indicates, the town is sort of a paradise for people residing there. Hidden alcove of a town, separated from busy cities surrounding it. The local saying, 'once you are here, you never want to leave,' is something all townsfolk here adhere to. Just like any other small town, Reef's Paradise has its own stories and secrets. Most of such stories are known to all the residents but unknown to the newcomer, Abbie. One such intriguing story is about the Light House, located at the far end of the town on a deserted beach. There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long. When anger is the only emotion Abbie's known to express for so long things are bound to explode. This is my first story here. Comments and feedback are appreciated. Against my better judgment, I answer, "Look I told you, you have the wrong number," I say a bit too harshly. "I wish I was the girl you were looking for but I'm not." "You do, huh?" His husky voice fills my ear again and I shiver. What the hell is he going on about? "What are you talking about?" I ask confused. "That you wish you were the girl I was looking for," he says amused. I groan remembering exactly what I said and palm my face, "I said that huh?" "Uh huh!" *** Fallon Mathews is a waitress who works entirely too hard and too much. She is pretty, smart, and not shy. Alexander Grant is the owner of one of the hottest clubs around- which just so happens to be the same club that Fallon likes to go to in her free time. Oh did I also mention that he is the son of a well-known CEO? A billionaire? No!? Well, he is. He isn't a player, but he does sleep around a lot. After all, he is single. What happens after he is given the wrong number that just so happens to be, Fallon's? Love, friendship, heartache, drama, and tragedy all in one! **WARNING** There most likely will be lots of errors! Love is strange. It exists in many forms and is one of the key components that makes humans happy, but there isn't a lot of understanding surrounding it. At least not the kind of understanding with which the average person identifies. Agnes is one of the few people that can accept all kinds of love. Despite her dated name, she is a woman in her late 20's dealing with the death of most of her family. She's now stuck in the middle of figuring out how to raise children that she never saw in her future and deciding what love means for her, when it has to exist within layer upon layer of complication. She let go of her boyfriend after almost a decade because their love wasn't meant to exist under the strain of children, only to find herself confronted with the overpowering connection of her old high school sweetheart. The same man she ran away from because their values hardly aligned when it came to how love should be expressed long term. Within the midst of learning how to raise children and balance her ever-building career, Agnes tries to recover from her mother's death, seek comfort without complicating her circumstance, and figure out why her mother would name her Agnes. Finding real comfort starts to feel impossible, as her most available options are her ex-boyfriend and her assistant. Completed! Rejected 6 times** "This one just isn't for us." By far the most plain rejection I have ever received and I can respect it. 1/22/2022 - 1K 9/28/2022 - 10K
