Bakugou has always been at odds with Midoriya ever since they were kids, but they are forced to come together when Midoriya's mom and Bakugou's mom fall in love and decide to get married. At 10 years old, Bakugou and Midoriya are forced into a family together. Bakugou treated Inko coldly at first and said mean things to her, but as the years went by they developed a close bond (whether Bakugou would admit to it or not). However, when the two UA-students are 15, Inko dies tragically in a car accident. Obviously Midoriya is shattered by the news of his biological mom's passing, however it is Bakugou who takes the hardest hit. Bakugou's only true friend had just been ripped away from him. Bakugou starts to become even more hostile and cold to everyone around him, while breaking down behind closed doors.

Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Bakugou slightly brushes it off at first but starts to get really concerned about his good friend, Kirishima. He has been trying to talk but most of the time is responded with silence. He knows that Kirishima starts to talk to Midoriya a lot more and him less. He starts to get jealous? Kirishima begins to close himself off from everyone, he doesn't even want to talk to Midoriya or Bakugou. He still goes to school, but completely ignored when someone tries to talk to him. He starts wearing his hair down, and it starts to fade to its natural color. One day the villains attack, Kirishima wants to keep everyone safe, he wants to make sure he is the only that ever gets harmed during this.
