(Y/N) never expected to become a student at Konohagakure's Ninja Academy, and much less a genin! On a journey no one could have anticipated, she meets people from places near and far. And, who knows, those friendships might just develop into something more. Danger and fun are mixed almost interchangeably, but just when things seem like they're finally stabilizing, it appears fate has other plans...

This is starting from the beginning of the series, adding in one new character ─ you. Despite this, the characters that would've been twelve at this time are now sixteen (for the sake of plot convenience. I'm not going to write a love story/smut between preteens). Mostly male love interests (only because I can't write well for Sakura, Hinata, and Ino, though you may be able to convince me to do them if you really want. On a separate note, the protag isn't seventeen; which is the age you become an adult in Konoha for this story). I'll consider adding Anko (and Kakashi) once we reach that point. In the meantime, I'll do a little bit of teasing to satisfy you guys a bit ;) Another thing: the reader is strong, but not OP; she is the 3rd Hokage's grandniece; she is far from a happy-go-lucky person (she's quite cynical and pessimistic, even. I call it Sasuke-lite); and she's known around the village not for her blood ties, but rather her considerable skill. Dialogue will not always perfectly match the episodes, and scenes won't always be so dramatic, but when it does, it will be the subbed version (at least until episode 220). Transcribing it takes far too long (believe me, I've tried).
