Luz Noceda and Amity Blight have been thrown around and pushed through so much. What they don't know is the big roller coaster they're about to go on. As Luz is finding her way without Amity by her side, she runs into complications, finding herself thinking about Amity more than she'd like.
Amity wants to be a better person, learn from her mistakes and hopefully get the love of her life back. She wants to be in her arms once again, feel her hands run through her hair. She misses having Luz next to her, holding her hand. Sadly none of what she wants comes true...at least not as she expected.

Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations. Yet she stands her ground, especially when she's with Luz. She's stronger with her, she's better with her. The thing is, who really knows if Luz acts on these feelings.Complete
