After tough moments in her life, Emery Rose Evans finally has it all figured out. With her love for writing and sports sets out to combine the two things she's most passionate about to have her voice be heard. The path she has in front of her is one of the things she didn't plan. A path for a different change, a different view of herself and others. Her talent will soon be put up for a test. Emery's last year of college comes with the most impacting challenge. In a whole side of her journalism major she is put up to the task of outselling Toronto University's soccer team and promoting them for whole sponsorships to seek out. Emery has a long shot coming her way....

Does he have the satisfaction of becoming someone great on and out the field?His first love because the biggest loss during the summer and now it's his last year at Toronto University with a whole new year for a do over. Each year, each party, different girl, no mutual feeling. This year. This is the year that everything changes. Toronto University's soccer team is finally reaching the championship. With captain Christian Collins leading the team to their first championship since 8 years, all bets are on and he is more focused than ever. No more distractions. This is it......or so he insisted. He is stuck seeing the school's new journalist and Emery Rose Evans is ready to let her voice be heard. It is not new for her to be familiar with the sport and that is one of the things that surprises Christian. Is he finally ready to feel every emotion he has been afraid of letting in? Day by day he will help her shine the light on herself. While as she will bring out every feeling he has left to give.....their path of roses awaits them as each pedal continues to fall..

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. *COMPLETED* Olivia After all the drama during my freshman year I look forward to being a sophmore. I am going to kick ass in classes and nail this marketing project. Only downside is that I am assigned to the football team for this project. That means I have to endure being around my dad and the enemy himself, Dax. Too bad the enemy comes in a six foot three inches, muscular all tatted up body that makes my knees weak. Dax Being all alone during the summer break was good for me. It took me some time to realize that my demons from the past is still haunting me and affecting my academic and personal life. Derek used to believe in love, it's what he lived and breathe for. Until he watched his mother become a slut because of it. My Confessional
Writing a memoir at only fifteen years old has taught me a lot. Giving me the time to reflect on the lessons I learned the hard way and the mistakes I've made thus far. I learned, if there is at least two sides to every story, there is at least two sides to every person. What could be a smile is a broken heart in a deeper reality. We all live in a society where nothing is as it seems, the people being more complex and astonishing than the countless novels we read. And in a world ruled by tragedies, we are the survivors. Getting through our own history, more important to us then what we read in school. We take our story one page at a time, word by word because in the end, it will all be worth it. I dedicate this memoir to the people who have been with me on my journey of self discovery, even if only in spirit. Mom- Who has made non stop sacrifices to ensure my happiness and well being. Nothing would be possible without you! Grandma- Who has inspired me and made a huge influence to the person I am now and who I'll be in the future. Callie- My own personal slave, illustrator, editor and full time best friend. You know I love you <3 Ariana Grande- My celebrity inspiration, showing me that it's ok to "love who you love, no one can judge, follow your heart and don't give up", getting me through the long and lonely nights. Adam Young (Of Owl City)- My first artist I listened to, your songs make me think of the past and the new adventures to come. Sam Tsui- The album "Make it up" taught me to not be scared of not knowing what's going to happen next. Being young and naive Isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it brings way to new experiences, to be vulnerable and crying doesn't make you any less of a person. There are like fifty people in here! "Oh! And who do we have here?" Mr Parker asks. I remember him; he used to be my English teacher. I sigh and look to the class, my eyes instantly lock with the most gorgeous blue eyes. His messy blonde hair is styled in a sexy looking quiff, you can see the muscles showing from his thin grey shirt and he looks to be quite tall, even though he's sitting down. It's only a second before I realised who it is, Jaydon Hamilton. I don't move my eyes away from him as I speak. "Hazel Williams." Unexpectedly rooming with two hockey players whose lives revolve around hockey wasn't a problem for me. That was until a blue eyed- tattooed boy showed me how beautiful love can be. I wasn't suppose to fall for the captain of the hockey team. I try not to like him, but I fall even harder. But I carry a heavy past around my shoulders and when those two familiar people threaten me with Havens life, I'm stuck between choosing his happiness or mine. My parents make me feel like I can't have Haven West. And if I'm being honest, even I don't know if I can have him. But he calls me his special person. He's my special person. Haven West. The only thing I've ever cared about was hockey and the people that raised me. I grew up with parents that held a knife to my neck and destroyed my image of happiness. When she moved in, I hated it.
