Awsten wakes up in the middle of a bad episode of sleep paralysis. Left feeling anxious and overwhelmed, he quickly realizes he cannot remember the details of the night before. He doesn't know why his friends slept over his house. He doesn't understand how all of his neighbors could suddenly vanish without a trace. He begins to doubt his sanity when he keeps seeing faces from the corner of his eye that look like the ones from his sleep paralysis hallucination. Is he losing it? The only way to get his feelings out of his system is to write about it, after consulting with his best friend and bandmate, Geoff. He writes an obsessive love song, which he finds himself playing on repeat, only becoming more infatuated with this mystery girl, every time he thinks of her. Elle Wright leaves her home city after a painful breakup, escaping to the other side of the world, desperate for a change of scenery. She didn't know that her new start would include becoming best friends with her idol. The two of them are finding their feet, learning to be alone again, and in that, they find comfort in each other.
