Ryuu made a promise all those years ago, and she'd be damned if she broke it now.
Ryuu is your stereotypical child. Energetic, loud, and chaotic at heart. While the orphanage is a nice place, she's always had the growing urge to go out and explore the world. Hell, just making a friend besides that one kid who made friends with any and everyone. Someone she can rely on. Soon enough, she gets her wish, though a new mental companion really wasn't on the agenda.
Come to think of it, getting kidnapped as a child to be used as a transportation vessel was never on the agenda either.

She's traveling in this conveniently-placed forest behind her house, and finds a really weird tree. She falls asleep at the base of it and stuff happens. Of course, when she wakes up, she's in the shinobi world. Who would've guessed, right? Not the reader, obviously... But now things get different. She's not anywhere near Konoha, or Suna, or even Kiri! She's in the middle of a random forest, she looks completely different, and she's got new clothes. Oh, and there's an egg in her pocket. The egg hatches into a little dragon, and they wander around the forest together. Until they find a strange cabin, and an even stranger old man. Blah blah blah, stuff happens, and then Orochimaru appears! Along with her long-lost twin brother she didn't even know she had! It's a bit cliche... With her friends, Naruto, Sasuke (and unfortunately Sakura); Lucy soon realizes that her past wasn't as easy to forget as she thought it would be. She begins to fear that if she doesn't find a way to control Lucille, she will end up either killing one of the those she loves or giving out her secret that's been hidden for eight years! A/N: This is a crossover fan fiction between the anime Elfen Lied and Naruto! I am only using the diclonius idea and putting it in the Naruto anime. And one other thing; I did start this story when I was about thirteen (I am currently seventeen) and the first few chapters are a tad messy and some of the grammar is sketchy, but I promise it does get a lot better in the later chapters.
