I was walking down at the forest ng biglang may nakakasilaw na liwanag akong nakita. I was so curious that's why I follow the light nung una lakad lang ang ginawa ko pero dahil nga sa sobrang kaba and excitement unti unti kong tinakbo yung path na may liwanag and I was astonished by a beautiful girl who's floating with her wooden stick beside the lake she's singing a beautiful enchantment that I don't even know what's that is, dahil na din sa paghanga ko sa nakikita ko that time I was taken a back ng bigla siyang lumingon.

Most impressive rank: 1 - Fairytale *** Casey is all alone in the werewolf world, the only family she has left is her crazy dad. her mum died of cancer, causing her dad to go crazy and start beating Casey. What's worse is that she can't get away from the violence because when she goes to school they do the same. *** I close my eyes so I could listen and smell everything in case this was the last time I would ever be in this beautiful forest. I chase away any bad or worried thoughts because this place seemed so sacred it did not allow them. I breath in and catch the sweet scent of lavender flowers that speckled the ground in little clumps and the dry smell of dirt that hadn't been rained on in a couple of day. I listen to the steady titters of birds as they fly from tree to tree, collecting little twigs and leaves to build their nests with. I listen to the buzz of the bees greedily feasting on the flowers that scattered around the dry forest floor. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. I spot what I think is light dancing on waters surface and sprint for it. Then I break through the trees, making it to the lake.

I glanced down to her lips but then I scooted away while clearing my throat. She hmm'd, "You tried to kiss me again." I shook my head and said "Nope. I didn't, I tried not to kiss you, as you see." She rolled her eyes with a soft smile. "Maybe if you did let me kiss you...just once, I would stop trying." She sighed softly "I got my doctorate at 24 You know I'm not a dumbass right?" I just let out a soft sigh "Thank you for everything" I hugged her and held her tightly. She wrapped her arms around me. She pulled back and I looked at her lips. "I should go." I said softly. "You can have one kiss-" I kissed her. ________________________________________ India Jones is a true Chicagoan girl who, to unfortunate circumstances, has to move to Texas with her father. I never thought a spontaneous trip to Fiji would change my life. I was just Max Vito, a regular Hispanic- Italian guy from Havana Cuba looking to escape the city's noise. I had been talking to a girl online for eight months now and she invited me to her country for one of her religious holidays, The Festival Of Lights- Diwali. It sounded like the perfect way to experience something new, something beautiful, what I didn't expect was to find myself living with Aelia's family, surrounded by traditions I'd never known, in a place that felt more like home than anywhere else, from the moment I stepped into their world, I was welcomed with open arms. Aelia's family didn't just invite me to celebrate Diwali- They showed me what it meant to belong. They taught me the significance of lighting the Diyas to chase away the darkness, shared their stories of faith, hope, and renewal, and invited me into their nightly celebrations, where the air smelled of incents and the sounds of laughter echoed through the streets. And there was Aelia, unlike anyone I'd ever met- beautiful with a quiet strength that made me want to know everything about her. As I learned about her family's traditions I realized I was also learning more about her. The way she cared for her family, her older brother and I became best friends instantly, Aelia looked at the world with wonder, it's impossible not to fall for her, How could I tell her? The festival was supposed to be a temporary stop, a quick visit before I returned to my old life. But as each day passed, I found myself questioning whether I could leave. Fiji had given me more than an adventure, it had given me a glimpse of something I didn't know I was missing. A place where traditions, love, and light filled the air. Now as the Festival nears its end, I'm faced with a choice, go back to the life I knew, or stay in this Island Paradise where I've found more than just myself- I've found a family, a culture and maybe the love of my life.
