Livia Moretti has not had a good night's sleep since the day her best friend - sorry, ex-best friend - died. Yes, It's insomnia. Whenever Livia closes her eyes, the scene flashes before her eyes.
She's just getting by, finding whatever distraction she can. Thankfully, ModernLifeTM in Britain is hectic enough to keep her busy. But lately, it really doesn't seem the case, when she flies to Japan for an exchange trip.

Takahashi Kyoko does not belong. Nothing new about that. She used to be like 'all the others' - dreaming of riding off into the sunset with a beautiful princess. Unfortunately, Japan does not welcome the new, so Kyoko can only ever dream, unwilling to get too involved with something that will only bring her pain. Her only tether to reality is her fighting, everything else in her life aims to pursue her nightly adventures.
Then came another, a girl, overseas from England.

Co-authored with my good friend Molly! (Warning- the first chap is really cringy!)

18 chapitres Terminé Contenu pour adultes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jenna is quiet and distant but has a passion for streaming. But then, one day when she falls asleep in class, she has a strange dream of waking up in a magical place that...almost felt like a fantasyland and then once she blinks it's all gone. Determined to find out what it is, she finds someone who's also been dreaming about the same thing. And so the both of them go on a mission to figure out what they keep dreaming about. (Edit: Never mind about the "blinking and it's all gone" part, this kind of "dream" is endless) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heather, on the other hand, is a social butterfly, she gets along really well with others, is really sweet, and can light up the whole room with just her bright smile. She prefers to speak English most of the time, however, will speak Spanish if the moment's right. Heather is the popular girl, she knows how to host a party and how to party, how to bake sweets, and has over a million of friends. She's also really rich too and lives in a mansion with her mother and sister. One day, Heather had fallen asleep in class because of a party she attended the day before, and had a dream about waking up in, what seemed to be, a fantasyland. She became determined to find out what the dream meant, and then she met someone who was having the same dream as her, and so the both of them made it their mission to find out why they're having these reoccurring dreams...oh yeah I forgot to mention, she's not very fond of Jenna, since they didn't really have a good start. (Edit: She speaks English throughout most of the story. But, spoiler alert, she speaks Spanish in the final chapter and in one of the bonus chapters.) (Edit 2: I lied.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ⚠️TW!!⚠️ Mention of Depression Mention of Graphic violence Mention of Substances ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (P.S. Cover Art not by me! And also I'll be updating this slowly now. But I hope you enjoy it anyway! :3)
Mirai, the Witch of Sight, écrit par High_Priestess_Elena
101 chapitres Terminé Contenu pour adultes
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (ongoing) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love
*THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION. ANY RELATION OF THE CHARACTERS OR SITUATIONS TO REAL LIFE ARE NOT INTENTIONAL AND ANY SIMILARITIES TO REAL LIFE ARE A RESULT OF COINCIDENCE* ---------- ""Mayuri, I don't want you to feel like you're ever alone," I couldn't tell, but I know X was holding his tears or something back. He was hiding something from me, but I couldn't tell what it was. "I don't want to hang up until you feel sleepy or want to rest. For as long as I've known you Mayuri, I know you hate being alone, especially if you're in the hospital. So, I made a promise to myself, that as long as you're awake, I'll stay awake with you, so you don't ever have to feel like you're all alone." ---------- What would it be like to be normal? What would it be like to not be scared to fall asleep at night and not be afraid to wake up? She has always wondered what it would be like to be someone else who wasn't in her shoes. Mayuri Crest has unfortunately developed narcolepsy at a young age and ever since then, her life has always been under constant surveillance, where people always pity her, but never really asked her about who she is. Her last year in high school though, she plans to make sure that she doesn't forget any of it. Mayuri plans to make her last year the best year she's ever had and finally, after the long, gruelling pain of alienated because of her conditions, both her medical and school wise, she would experience what it would be like to be like everyone else. ------- NOTE: There are possible trigger warnings in this novel e.g. suicidal thoughts. You were a beacon of light. One that gave me strength. You called me your best friend, so in turn, I called you that as well. We really were inseparable. It was us against the world. Nothing could touch me when you were by my side. But now you're gone... I don't blame you. I was the one that pushed you away, tossed you to the wolves, and destroyed your chances at happiness. Why? Because I was scared of needing you, scared of you getting too close, scared of falling in love with you. It's okay now. Shine your light on someone else. Shine it on him. The one that pulled you up from the pits of hell in which I pushed you in. Love him... Love Oikawa. And maybe, just maybe, one day, I'll find someone who can love me in the same way you love him. Scars, and all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello everyone! To avoid any confusion, please check out my Oikawa x Reader fanfiction. This is the spin-off and is not, I repeat, IS NOT an Oikawa x Reader. In this story, we will be following the antagonist of my Oikawa x Reader, who is named Mia Fujisaki. I will be using the Haikyuu universe (which I don't own). But MOST of the characters I use will be my own OC's. Disclaimer: I don't own the Haikyuu plot and I don't own any of the Haikyuu characters. ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING!!! Mature content/language, SA, violence, mentions of death, mentions of abuse, self-harm, suicidal thoughts/actions, scars, eating disorder, and ANGST⚠️ I love all of my wonderful readers, and I hope you enjoy it! :) Editing!!!
'I really like you.'" ----- Casey Winters is the star of the soccer team at her school. She's a gifted player, and her talents have led her team to championships. Her one weakness? School.
