We're told that we must make something of ourselves, make a difference in the world. As long as I can remember, who I've wanted to be has changed constantly and I never thought I'd really be anyone. A teacher. That was my first idea. I liked the authority and control.

But never once did I see myself as dead, living on borrowed time in a strangers body with the weight of the world resting on my shoulders. Never once did I believe that I could be strong and brave.

To fight means that I would put everything I know and love at risk, it means that I have to believe in myself fully, and I'm not too sure that's something I can do.

We never know what we're capable of, until the moment comes.
