After being kidnapped by Tyler MacFarlane, 16-year-old Gemma Toombs is returned to civilization and forced to face what actually happened while she was held captive in the Great Sandy Desert. Gemma's heart is in one place, while her head is in another. She understands that what Ty did to her was wrong, but can not come to terms with how she felt about him. What happened in the land, with Ty's secrets and lies he revealed to Gemma about her life, makes her question everything she ever knew.

What I hope readers take away from Uncharted is the power of telling your own story. And what version of that story you want it to be.
