The world of Remnant is a world filled with wonders in every corner of the world. But there also lies a great danger in the world, creatures of darkness and negativity that cause death and destruction where they go, Grimm. If you were to ask someone where they come from you may get some vague answer.

That's because no one really knows where they come from, except for a select few. They come a woman named Salam, or rather her realm. Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon Academy, has secretly been at war with Salam for millennia. While Salam has any army of Grimm at her command, while Ozpin has his Huntsmen to counter act the Grimm.

While the Grimm are naturally stronger and more unpredictable, the Huntsmen are able to counter and in some cases even surpass them. Why you may ask, it's because Huntsmen are able to utilize there aura, giving them a protective barrier and even a superpower all their own called a Semblance. Well why can't use them as well, simple Grimm don't have souls and are incapable of producing aura by any means.

Salam knew this but paid it no mind, after all she had a seemingly endless supply of Grimm. But as the years went by Salam saw that each new generation of Huntsmen are stronger than the last. Salam saw this and began to think of new ways to end this war. While many of her ideas were the same as always one idea entered her head, the idea of what if Grimm had souls. She thought it was dumb and impossible at first. Grimm can't produce aura for they lack a soul. But the more she thought about it, the more she began to like it more. If she could create a working Grimm soul, then humanity will fall. Humans, that word echoed in her head until she had a terrible thought, "what if it could turn humans into Grimm?", she had a sinister smile on her face as she began to prepare her new creation.

Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it? DISCLAIMER: I do not own RWBY or any of the pictures you may see in this book. All of them belong to Rooster Teeth and owners respectively. I only own the non-canon characters and changes to the plot and history of RWBY. There will be strong language and gore, so if you're easily offended, I recommend you to not read this book.

World of remnant, a world without magic, semblance or any grimm. Instead of that there are knights, kings, queens and obviously princesses and princes. But there is a legend that said: people with silver eyes were able to use magic. People were frightened of them and called them witches. Whenever they captured a 'witch' people burned them, so now there are no one left with silver eyes. In the kingdom of Atlas, ruled by its king, there are lots of criminals that knights can't get rid of. But one day a boy, or at least everyone thought that he was a boy, appeared out of nowhere. He wore a red cloak with hood that covered his face completely and had a giant scythe as a weapon. He called himself 'Red reaper' and was fighting against all the criminals. And there was 16 years old Weiss Schnee, second princess of Atlas. To tell you the truth she wasn't a scared little princess waiting for her prince in shining armor to save her, like in fairy tales. She was a skilled rapier user, which she learned from her elder sister Winter. Top ranking in Whiterose #2 (21/02/2019)
