The III Act of the Cloudhorders Trilogy - The Final Gauntlet is the final drama of the story of Cristina and her people. With the earth restored and humanity picking up what's left of civilization, the sky began to swarm with our friends of the Nether, and cry in fear for something unseen and unfathomable.  When they seek our council, asking us for aid, they tell us the story which has caused them to journey to us and our planet, hoping for protection by the distance traveled.  Little did we know, they ran from an ungodly entity that could live in the vacuum of space, and is capable of a massive wake of total destruction. It is empowered with world destroying abilities that allow it to do as it pleases, taking planets and leaving only dust.  It was a message that heralds more horror as the one's left hear the tale of pure cataclysmic evil.  As the monster grows closer, and the surface scrabbles to safe zones, what will they do to ensure safety? How will they protect themselves from a race of ancient Gods? Will they flee or will they stand their ground and fight for what is left of humanity, and earth's gentle companions. How does one prevail in the vacuum of space? Christoph needed this human, for her knowledge and the language she could help them to understand her hand language. A small group, a one-day trip- that was all it was supposed to be. But then no one expected poachers, Another human female, or the natural cycle and what it could do to the human body. Christoph had completely underestimated the trip. Now war has broken out and tensions rise- both buried feelings and skeletons come falling out of the closet. Can this spunky smart girl survive the Palace's wrath? Can Christoph face the reality that things aren't always what they seem nor black and white? Will Lassie play her part- and find her way home? Who knows- maybe humanity was doomed on Earth- but that won't be Lottie or her dog- because she's willing to do whatever it takes to get moved up to the front of the list. Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues.
