Loud and bold Nala Hernandez takes to the streets in anger at her government's denial of the inherent faults in the justice system. Another person of color, slain and swept under the rug. When she follows through on a threat to a friend who only wanted to loot, she lands herself in jail for the assault. As warranted as it was, she couldn't resist, for once the police would arrest someone for something they did. Now she's got bail and a cold Seattle PD jail cell. But someone does pay for it, and now that she's been publicly arrested her roommates have kicked her out so she must take an offer from her mystery bail payer.
