However that proves to be very difficult when you. Well. Don't know who 'him' is. You do know that 'him' is taking part in the gym challenge. So your best bet is to go to the gyms and hope for the best.
You have three starters who were assigned to you to complete your purpose. Tepig, Oshawott and Snivy. Unfortunately you can't speak pokemon so they can't tell you more about 'him'.
But you do meet someone who can. King N of team plasma. Unfortunately he seems to be having a crises of truth/ ideals.
Even so. Perhaps he holds the key to helping you find 'him'
