"Looking so beautiful tonight, Ruby."

That was Damien.

Reluctant, she turned to look at him. "You don't look bad yourself either, Damien. " She tried to smile.

"Thanks." He gave a lopsided grin as he walked towards her. Right in front of her, he glanced at her. His eyes wandering across her body.

"You wanna say something?" She asked him.

He took out a photo from his breast pocket and showed her. "You remember this boy?" He asked her.

Ruby looked at the picture intently and saw that was Damien Owusu, her Jhs mate.

"That's... Damien. You know him?" She said, furrowing her brows.

He looked at her, with his eyebrows lifted. Didn't she get it? He wondered.

Ruby glanced at the photo again and then back at Damien. Was he the same guy in the photo? The guy she'd humiliated in class. How could that be possible? He looked so different she couldn't recognize him.

"In as much as I love to play with your emotions, I thought I should let you know who I am. " He said.

She opened her mouth to talk, but nothing came out. She was completely dumbfounded.

"Ruby!"

She tensed upon hearing her name and before she could turn, Andy was beside her.

"What's going on here?" He asked, glaring at Damien.
He looked at Ruby. "Are you okay?"...
