Ashlynn Woodbridge loves all things magical. She's magical herself! There's nothing she'd love more than to understand it all. 

There's one tiny problem though (actually, make that two or three), her magical talent is still shrouded in mystery and her amazing, mind blowing, flawless invention DEFINITELY doesn't work. A ruined ceremony doesn't exactly help her cause either.

Just when things start to look bleak, Magus (a talking white cat) appears, asking her to collect star shards in exchange for revealing her destiny. 

Curious and desperate, Ashlynn agrees, only to be pulled into whimsical stories and exciting books. With the help of the enigmatic Xavier and dynamic Magus, will Ashlynn successfully collect the star shards and find out her fate?
