We all know the classic story of a girl who lost her glass slipper running away from her dreams, and racing back to her sad reality of being a peasant maid for her own step-mother and step-sisters, the only family she has left.  Yes, this is a story based on none other than the character of Cinderella.  However...this rendition of telling the tale is quite different.  This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. In this story, you learn about the lives these characters really lived behind the scenes of the happily ever after that we all know to be.  You'll discover rich amounts of character development from minor characters and learn major mic-drops about the major characters.  I hope you enjoy reading and visualizing the lives of various characters and what they may have been thinking throughout this story! I give you...The Story Behind the Slipper... :)

In order to save his sister and find a way home, Leo will have to confront an evil queen who lives in an office cubicle, a few mice with horrible fashion sense, and a girl with green skin and webbed toes (but hey, at least she's kind of cute). And he'll have to do it all before the clock strikes midnight or risk being trapped in Pittsborough forever. Now if only he could figure out how to walk on his wooden feet... --------------------------- This short story is a modern day fairytale mashup, partially inspired by Pinocchio, The Frog Prince, and many others. The last year of high school before Ellie gets to finally leave everything behind her and chase her dreams. Her evil stepmom, stupid school, fake friends and most of all her deceiving prince charming whom she might have never fallen out of love from. She crosses her heart, and promises to never be swept off her feet again, she has had enough of people believing that she has a fairytale life with her happily ever after already written. But she might be in for a ride, when her past crashes onto her and the monsters that she had buried six feet deep within start to chase her again. A wilting relationship, a new found friendship, old addictions and false dedications might just finally crown her as a princess from an overused fairytale. And even if it breaks her heart, she might just push her prince too hard when he finally knocks on her door wearing his best apology for arriving just after the clock has struck midnight. Words are sharper than knife they say. Yes it is true. Some perfectly moulded good words can both make and break a heart easily. A poem is a group of such perfectly moulded words given wings to fly. They fly through the mind and heart easily. A hobby is an activity we do to express ourselves, our beliefs and our thinking. For example through drawing, dancing, singing, etcetera. Writing a poem is one of such hobbies. Here words are used. These words and messages are far more twisted. A poem hits the mind, a good poem hits the heart. Thoughts Of A Juvenile is just a collection of my poems.I started writing poems when I was 8. I may not be a great writer. But yeah I write to express. There have been times for me like many other teenagers where I thought I was lost and helpless. There have been good times too. I'm standing on the edge of teenage now, telling you that you can survive this. You can survive everything. All you need is to find your strengths. There are sad nights and then there are mornings full of opportunities. Don't give up. I'm here and I'll always be here. Whenever you feel down just remind yourself "Be stupid". Go out in public and the eat the food you like alone, ask out your crush, flirt like there's no one watching, dance like a ghost has possessed your body, prank people, have a little chat with the nerds you know. Surviving is an art not many can master. Be a Master. There are mistakes in this book and I tried my best to correct them. But couldn't correct them all. "Ah your majesty, I guess you might be wondering why I am here to torture the hell out of you right? It is all simple, I am here for nothing but to seek revenge. Do you remember that little girl from the neighboring kingdom? The one who you 'murdered'? Yeah her, guess what? She's not dead, neither is her mother, but her father on the other hand, wasn't spared from your sword. With it slicing through his intestines and I watching it on my mother's back. "Do you know how that affects a child? Seeing their precious father being murdered right in front of her eyes. You thought that you buried us six feet underground. Well jokes on you. Those were dummies that my mother created to fool you. We buried my father in a funeral only of us two," she said wiping away a stray tear, "You know, it is always said, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth ... and a life for a life." She tightened her grip on the king's throat and he groaned out loud in pain. The bones on his backbone cracked slowly under the immense force. Daryl had seen the whole thing. From what she had said, she had every right to take his father's life away, but, he didn't want her to have any blood in her hands. "Tatyana! Please don't kill my father. I know you have every reason to, but please, don't kill him." He broke the silence that had surrounded the room with his plea. Tatyana threw a glance at him and her heart ached at the sight of him like that. She had come all this way, what was left was just to snap his neck, and all would be over. Will she do it? This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear!
