In this book, I have collected (and still am collecting) letters and notes from people all around, some I know very well and some I've never met. They have written these heartfelt notes to certain people, but never intend on sending them. These are genuine feelings, confessions. These are thoughts and dreams that people have written down but are too afraid of giving them to the people they were meant for. And that's okay. Sometimes you don't need to. Sometimes you just need to let something go, write it out. This is what this book is. It's a book of anonymous secrets. Heartstring is a book that you read right before you sleep or when you have woken up. It's a book that lays by your nightstand, a book that you can always go back to . It's a book that will make you feel, act, and see things differently. It's a book that you can relate to. Heartstring is not just a book, it's an emotion. Some of us have suffered through terrible things, some of us have found little things inspiring, some of us have beautiful memories. But life is really a lost treasure. It's not always what you expect but we have our share of good and bad. Each one of us has such a memory, the sweet-sour taste of life that still lingers in our mind. Heartstring is the collection of all these stories your's and mine that will inspire others to think, feel, act differently. The motive just one ----Someone going through what you have once doesn't feel so alone. when an aromantic falls in love
I'm an aromantic, and always have been but found out late... it provided me with lots of clarity. However, I found myself in a deep struggle trying to differentiate between being in love & being lonely since it has happened to me countless times before. So here I write little things now and then about the girl I'm in love with, in hopes that eventually, I can find the truth about my desires. (oct) ----- I'm surely in love, yes. I'll proudly write and show off the girl I'm in love with, I'll tell the world how much I love her, I'll make others jealous about my unconditional love for her all the way through. My Brooklyn. (nov) ----- As much agony as I am in, falling back and forth wondering what my love truly is, I'm trapped. I'm trapped every time I look at her even if I try to look away. it has me sick to my stomach, but I don't really mind. maybe it can end the way I want? (dec) ----- 3 days before confessing. From The Heart
Do you know the times when you want to say something, but can't? Or the times when you are sad and need someone to give you a hug? The times your worst enemy hugs your boyfriend? Or the times you are so angry you punch a locker and have to pay to get it repaired? Well with writing my thoughts, passions, anger triggers, enemies, love, hatred, even happiness out for people. Makes me feel like someone can relate to me and I can impact them in any simple or complex way they deem fit. I write because I can and I become free with every word written from my mind, every letter and messed up grammar I have accidentally committed to butchering every time I write. I may not make a difference, heck, I may not even have a lot of people who read but those who do read when I write about how I thought up a story plot or something for my best friend, they will always make me feel like I'm making the difference because someone actually read what I thought at a certain time and day and maybe even listened. That's what makes me feel wanted and happy like I can do something other than run my stubborn mouth and have a mother hen personality.
