America is the loud, obnoxious, immature nation the countries know, right? But what if he wasn't? What secrets surface after a more than odd call shoves the crew of nations into a side of America most have never seen.
I wrote this just for fun so there is kinda quick pacing along with slow updates. I'd love some criticism about it so I can improve. I use google translate for any foreign language so please correct it if it's wrong in the comments and I will fix it. Otherwise please enjoy.

Secrets Of A Superpower
There is many things we keep a secret, for many differemt reasons. We all have secrets, big or small. America is no exception. He has swept many things under the rug, and one day, he has to leave for an unknown reason. The countries know he has secrets, but how many, and are they important? Dangerous? He was never open with another country, always ignoring their questions. So, the nations look through his bag as a result and find something interesting... (;-; Context time. Don't expect routinely or fast updates. Not that big brain. America is the oldest between Canada, Mexico, and himself, Mexico being the baby. Canon can just screw off- cause imma be including some slight OOC moments, but for the majority he is in character, or just slightly out of it. This is history based but will be historically inaccurate at times. This is basically a normal 'cOuNtRiEs rEaDiNg DiArYs' story because I have headcanons and no life, and, America is my favorite ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. this is a concept I really like but I've never seen it done right so I decided to take matters into my own hands America is ordered to take a week to invite over a few of his fellow nations in order for them to get along better. He takes them to his old house of which only Lithuania has been in. The only issue is that the other don't know the extent of America. Personified US States and Federal District
So this was an idea I've had for a while now concerning the capital and states. I started out with Alaska, then moved to New York and it just snow balled from there. This book will start with Delaware, end with Hawaii and will put D.C. in middle with the rest of states from the 1700s. And if anybody wants to create fan art for them feel free to do it and if you want your art displayed here, I'll make a separate book just for the art. Please be mindful of the fact that these are my ideas on how they all look and act. Before anybody gets on me about Pennsylvania, I've read other stories where Penn is albino and can switch from acting like Prussia to Austria and back again with either a trigger word or song. I've done it so that even though Penn mainly acts like Austria, he will switch to Prussia if AND only when the family is being seriously threatened. The only countries who know about the capital and the states are as follows: 1. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus- reason is because of the purchase of Alaska back in 1867 and that New York decided to follow his grandma to meet this new potential sibling 2. Lithuania- we all know that he lived with Alfred for a time, so he one day literally ran into Alaska and from there meet the 50 of Alfred's children 3. Prussia- two words people VALLEY FORGE, it was not a good winter that year at all 4. Canada and Mexico- Mexico knew already because the states along the southern border are hers (yes, here Mexico is a girl named Esperanza) and Canada found out shortly after the war of 1812 Hope you all enjoy reading the book and as a pre warning, all and any flames will be used to roast marshmallows on bayonets (don't tell Gilbert about that last part) over backyard fire pits.Complete

Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary. France, Spain, and England miss their son, their other former colonies miss their brother. South America want their cousin back. America's old friends want their friend back. So many countries regret not helping America out. The states, provinces, territories, and cities of North America miss their brother. But what about Canada, Maria, and, Diego? Oh them? Yeah they miss their brother, they cried for days, they barely talk to the rest of the world minus their cousins now, they all looked sadder now. But you know what?
