Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. Along with easily getting into arguments with Water Mage Salil, she is in an internal battle with herself trying to decide what choice she should really choose to carry through with. *Book originally inspired by "The Burning Sky" by Sherry Thomas.
